Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE has invited online applications for recruitment to 124 vacancies under Group A, Group B and Group C categories. The posts include Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor and Assistant Director, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant, Junior Assistant and other positions. Eligible candidates can apply online through the CBSE recruitment portal within the given time frame.

Application Fee

Application fee is payable post wise and category wise as mentioned in the detailed advertisement. Generally, there is an application fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates and no fee or reduced fee for SC, ST, PwBD, Ex Servicemen and women candidates. Fee must be paid online using the payment gateway integrated with the application form.

Important Dates

Online registration for CBSE recruitment starts from 02 12 2025 and will continue up to 22 12 2025 till 11 59 PM. Important dates such as last date for fee payment, admit card download, exam dates and schedule of skill tests or interviews will be notified through the CBSE website only. Candidates should regularly check updates.

Age Limit

Age limit for CBSE vacancies varies by post. For most Group C posts minimum age is 18 years and maximum is around 27 to 30 years, while for Group A and Group B posts maximum age may go up to 35 years as on 22 12 2025. Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex Servicemen and other categories as per Government rules.

Qualification

Eligibility criteria are different for each post. In general, candidates must have Bachelor degree or Master degree in relevant discipline such as Education, Science, Commerce, Management, Law, Accounts, Hindi or English along with required experience where mentioned. Detailed post wise educational qualification, experience, reservation and desirable qualifications are given in the official CBSE recruitment notification.

Selection Process

Selection process will include written examination, skill test, trade test or interview depending on the post level and job profile. For some posts there may be only a written test and for others a combination of written test and skill or interview. Final selection will be based on merit in the prescribed tests, verification of original documents and medical fitness.

How to Apply

All applications have to be submitted online through the CBSE official website www.cbse.gov.in in the Recruitment section. Candidates must first register with a valid email ID and mobile number, then login and fill the form, upload photograph, signature and supporting documents, pay the application fee if applicable and finally submit the form. No offline applications will be accepted.
