State Bank of India has released the SBI SO 2025 notification for recruitment of 996 Specialist Cadre Officers in wealth management roles such as VP Wealth SRM, AVP Wealth RM and Customer Relationship Executive. The recruitment is open for experienced banking and financial professionals as well as graduates with relevant skills. Candidates can submit their applications online only through the SBI Careers portal between 02 December 2025 and 23 December 2025.

Application Fee

Application fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates is Rs. 750 which is non refundable. SC, ST and PwBD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Fee can be paid only through online mode using debit card, credit card, internet banking, UPI or other available payment channels.

Important Dates

Notification issue date is 02 12 2025. Online registration including fee payment starts on 02 12 2025 and closes on 23 12 2025. Further schedule for online test or shortlisting and interview will be notified on the SBI website and through registered email or SMS of the candidates.

Age Limit

For VP Wealth SRM age should be between 26 and 42 years, for AVP Wealth RM between 23 and 35 years and for Customer Relationship Executive between 20 and 35 years as on 01 05 2025. Category wise relaxation in upper age is admissible for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and other eligible categories as per Government guidelines and SBI rules.

Qualification

Graduation in any discipline from a Government recognised University or Institution is the basic qualification for all posts. For higher level posts like VP and AVP, additional professional qualifications in finance, marketing or management and specified relevant experience in wealth management or relationship management in banks or financial institutions is required. Candidates should also have good communication and relationship building skills.

Selection Process

Selection process for SBI SO 2025 consists of shortlisting and or online written test followed by personal interview. Depending on the post, the bank may conduct an online examination including professional knowledge, reasoning and English or may shortlist candidates directly based on qualification and experience. Final selection will be based on performance in interview, eligibility verification and subject to medical fitness.
